## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AN AIRCRAFT WAS PREPARING FOR A TAKEOFF ON RUNWAY 23, AT AN UNCONTROLLED AIRFIELD. PILOT STATED THE TAXIWAY WAS CLEAR WHEN HE LEFT HIS HANGAR AND TURNED ONTO TAXIWAY TO RUNWAY 23. THERE WAS A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT NEAR THE APPROACH END OF RUNWAY. A VEHICLE FROM THE CONSTRUCTION SITE MISTAKENLY ENTERED ONTO THE TAXIWAY AND THE PILOT DID NOT NOTICE THE VEHICLE UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE TO STOP HIS AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT COLLIDED WITH THE VEHICLE, WITH MINOR DAMAGE AND NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
