## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT ATTEMPTED A LANDING IN A FARM FIELD. DURING THE LANDING ATTEMPT, THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED THREE TIMES AND EXECUTED AN ATTEMPTED GO-AROUND. THE AIRCRAFT SUCCESSFULLY CLEARED A TREE LINE AT THE DEPARTURE END OF THE FIELD. HOWEVER, THE AIRCRAFT FAILED TO CONTINUE TO CLIMB, CLIPPED A CEDAR TREE, COLLIDED WITH A ROCK WALL AND FLIPPED OVER, SUFFERING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER EXITED THE AIRCRAFT UNINJURED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN12CA205](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN12CA205), Mar 25, 2012: Furru Donald Jeffrey Skyranger V MAX (N912FL), Viola, AR, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot did not maintain adequate airspeed during a go-around, which resulted in an aerodynamic stall.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
