## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 4/5/2012 AT APPROXIMATELY 1330 LOCAL TIME, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ (PILOT IN COMMAND OF N6871H) WAS PERFORMING A LANDING ON RUNWAY 28 AT POTTSTOWN HERITAGE FIELD (KPTW). ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STATED THAT THE APPROACH APPEARED NORMAL AND THAT THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED ON LANDING. IN AN EFFORT TO SALVAGE THE LANDING, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ CONDUCTED A GO-AROUND AND IN DOING SO, INADVERTENTLY SELECTED THE FLAPS FROM 30-0 ALL AT ONCE. THE AIRCRAFT LOST LIFT, DRIFTED WELL TO THE LEFT OF RUNWAY 28 AND LANDED IN THE BRUSH. SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE OCCURRED TO THE AIRCRAFT. PILOT WAS NOT INJURED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
