## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS TAXIING TO THE ACTIVE RUNWAY AS INSTRUCTED BY GROUND CONTROL. THERE WAS ANOTHER AIRCRAFT TAXIING IN THE VICINITY OF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ AIRCRAFT. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STATED THAT HE SIMPLY DID NOT SEE THE HELICOPTER PLATFORM SITTING ON THE SIDE OF THE RAMP AS HE WAS WATCHING ANOTHER AIRCRAFT TAXIIING IN THE VICINITY.N366R STRUCK THE HELICOPTER PLATFORM IN THE RAMP AREA CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
