## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT HAD AIRCRAFT TOPPED OFF WITH FUEL IN FARGO, ND. FLEW AIRCRAFT TO MOHALL,ND AND RETURNED TO FARGO, ND. WHILE ON APPROACH TO RNWY 9 WEST AIRCRAFT LOST POWER. PILOT LANDED IN FIELD SHORT OF RUNWAY WITH NO INJURIES OR DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT. IT APPEARS AIRCRAFT HAD NO FUEL ONBOARD ALTHOUGH THE RIGHT HAND FUEL GAUGE INDICATED BETWEEN ONE EIGHTH AND ONE QUARTER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
