## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS ON A STRAIGHT IN APPROACH TO FAIRBANKS RUNWAY 2R. AT THE TIME OF LANDING HE DID NOT DETECT ANY NOTICEABLE CROSSWINDS. UPON TOUCHDOWN, THE AIRCRAFT BALLOONED SLIGHTLY, WHICH MADE THE PILOT APPLY FULL POWER. AS HE SETTLED DOWN AGAIN TO LAND A GUST OF WIND LIFTED THE RIGHT WING PUSHING DOWN THE LEFT TIRE. THE AIRCRAFT IMMEDIATELY TURNED 5 DEGREES. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THEN GAVE FULL RIGHT RUDDER INPUT TO NO EFFECT. HE ALSO AGAIN ADDED FULL POWER FOR A GO AROUND. AT THIS TIME THE REAR WHEEL STARTED TO COME AROUND AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROX 45 DEGREES TO THE RUNWAY. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ CUT POWER AND THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO COME AROUND CAUSING A GROUND LOOP.PTRS#AL01201201946
