## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT FLEW THE AIRCRAFT FROM FLORIDA TO TENNESSEE. TWO FUEL STOPS WITH UNEVENTFUL LANDINGS WERE MADE ENROUTE. THE PILOT STATED THAT, UPON ARRIVAL AT HIS FINAL DESTINATION, THE AIRCRAFT'S LANDING GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND. HE DECIDED TO FLY TO AN AIRPORT THAT HAD A GRASS STRIP HE WAS FAMILIAR WITH AND EXECUTE A GEAR-UP LANDING. THE LANDING WAS MADE WITH DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLERS AND MINOR DAMAGE TO THE BELLY OF THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
