APRIL 22, 2012, AT 17:42 DST, N22857 ATTEMPTED TO TAKE OFF FROM A SHORT PRIVATE STRIP LOCATED ON THE AIRMEN'S PROPERTY WITH TWO SOLES ONBOARD THE AIRCRAFT. JUST AFTER TAKEOFF THE PILOT SAID HE FELT THE AIRCRAFT BEGIN TO SINK BACK TOWARDS THE GROUND, HE TRIED ADDING POWER, BUT IT DID NOT SEEM TO HELP. HE DECIDED TO ABORT THE TAKE OFF AND CAME TO REST IN A PASTURE NEXT TO HIS PROPERTY.
