## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT DEPARTED FL37 IN ROUTE TO SEBRING, FL. AND GEAR RETRACTION WAS NORMAL. PILOT SELECTED GEAR DOWN WITH NO RESPONSE & TRIPPED C/B. PILOT RESET BREAKER WITH SAME RESULTS. HE THEN TRIED A MANUAL GEAR EXTENSION, BUT HE WAS UNABLE TO TURN THE GEAR CRANK. AFTER STRONGLY FORCING THE MANUAL GEAR CRANK IT BROKE LOOSE BUT HAD NO EFFECT ON THE LANDING GEAR. PILOT COORDINATED AN EMEREGENCY AND COORIDINATED A GEAR UP LANDING WITH MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRFRAME. MOST OF THE DAMAGE WAS ABSORBED BY THE HEAVY DUTY STOHL FLAP TRACKS. INSPECTED LANDING GEAR GEARBOX AND DISCOVERED THAT REDUCTION GEAR WOULD TURN WITH MANUAL GEAR EXTENSION HANDLE, BUT THE MAIN GEAR BOX WOULD NOT TURN.

Narrative: Mr. Bayerdorffer, pilot-in-command of Cessna N2MB landed on his private airfield. Just after landing, two deer ran out into the path of the aircraft…

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
