## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT WAS TRYING TO LAND ON RWY 18 WITH A SLIGHT TAILWIND. HE MADE TWO ATTEMPTS TO LAND BUT DID A GO-AROUND ON EACH ATTEMPT. ON THE 3RD TRY, HE ATTEMPTED ANOTHER GO-AROUND, BUT THE AIRCRAFT PITCHED NOSE-UP STEEPLY, THE LEFT WING DROPPED AND THE AIRCRAFT MADE A STEEP DESCENDING TURN TO THE LEFT. THE AIRCRAFT THEN CRASHED INTO THE TREES AND IMPACTED THE GROUND AT A VERY STEEP ANGLE, KILLING THE PILOT.
