## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN NORMALY NEAR THE RUNWAY CENTERLINE. ON ROLLOUT, THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN VEERING SHARPLY LEFT OF RUNWAY CENTERLINE AS A RESULT OF POSSIBLE FAILURE TO THE LEFT MAIN TIRE TUBE. CORRECTIVE CONTROL INPUTS BY THE PIC OF FULL RIGHT RUDDER AND MOMENTARY APPLICATION OF THE RIGHT BRAKE WERE APPLIED AS THE AIRCRAFT NEARD THE LEFT EDGE OF THE RUNWAY IN AN ATTEMPT TO KEEP THE AIRCRAFT FROM DEPARTING THE RUNWAY SURFACE. AS A RESULT OF THE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS DESCRIBED, THE AIRCRAFT ENTERED A RIGHT GROUND LOOP. THE LEFT MAIN GEAR BUCKLED UNDERNEATH THE AIRCRAFT AS IT SLID. DUE TO COLLAPSE OF THE LEFT MAIN GEAR THE LEFT WING IMPACTED THE RUNWAY CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON THE RUNWAY CENTERLINE FACING OPPOSITE THE DIRECTION OF LANDING.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
