## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N6008M WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 27 AT KSTP. WIND WAS VARIABLE BETWEEN 21 TO 25 AND GUSTING AT TIMES. PILOT LANDED USING A CROSS LANDING TECHNIQUE. UPON LANDING THE AIRCRAFT PORPOISED HIT HARD ON THE MAINS FIRST THEN THE NOSE WHEEL HARD ENOUGH TO BREAK IT OFF, SIMULTANEOUSLY THE PROP STRUCK THE RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT SLID DOWN RUNWAY 27 FOR 150-200 FEET BEFORE IT CAME TO REST JUST AFTER PASSING THROUGH INTERSECTING RUNWAY 14.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
