## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

SHORTLY BEFORE 1PM ON JUNE 4, 2012 I DEPARTED KBOI FOR A COUPLE OF TOUCH AND GOES AS I HAD NOT FLOWN MY PLANE FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS.  I CLIMBED OFF OF 28L FOR LEFT PATTERN AND RETRACTED THE LANDING GEAR.  ESTABLISHED ON MIDFIELD DOWNWIND I SELECTED GEAR DOWN AND NOTICED NO GEAR DOWN GREEN LIGHT. I CHECKED MY GEAR MIRROR, COULD SEE MY NOSE GEAR OUT AND RECYCLED THE GEAR UP TO DOWN AND STILL NO GREEN LIGHT. I CHECKED THE GEAR DOWN LIGHT AND IT WOULD ILLUMINATE.  TOLD THE TOWER I WAS HAVING GEAR PROBLEMS AND THEY SUGGESTED RIGHT 360'S AND I COMPLIED.  I COMPLETED AT LEAST 10 MORE GEAR UP TO DOWN CYCLES INCLUDING EMERGENCY EXTENSION WITH THE HAND PUMP. STILL NO GREEN LIGHT. I TOLD TOWER I STILL HAD NO GREEN LIGHT, AND ACCEPTED LANDING CLEARANCE ON 28L. THEY SAID THEY HAD ALERTED THE FIRE TRUCKS AND THEY WOULD BE STANDING BY. ON SHORT FINAL I SET THE FUEL SELECTED TO OFF AND SHUT THE MASTER SWITCH OFF.  PULLED THE THROTTLE TO IDLE AND TOUCHED DOWN LIGHTLY ON THE MAINS.  I HELD THE NOSE WHEEL OFF UNTIL I HAD NO MORE ELEVATOR AUTHORITY AND THE NOSE WHEEL TOUCHED LIGHTLY, HELD FOR A FEW SECONDS AND COLLAPSED. I SKIDDED TO A STOP IN A FEW HUNDRED FEET.SINCERELY, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
