## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UNWRAPPED CONDITIONED AIR HOSE WAS PREPOSITIONED OUTSIDE OF NORMAL SAFETY ZONE WHICH IS A SAFE CONDITION AND FOLLOWS SWA PROCEDURES. DURING AIRCRAFT TAXI INTO LAS GATE B11 THE UNWRAPPED AIR HOSE WAS PICKED UP BY GUSTY WINDS (25MPH) AND WITH #1 ENGINE OPERATED (ABOVE IDLE RPM) CAUSED THE FOD INGESTION OF THE CONDITIONED AIR HOSE INTO #1 ENGINE. THE #1 ENGINE WAS INSPECTED AND REQUIRED REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT. SWA CMO WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED WITH INCIDENT DETAILS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
