## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT N16GF OPERATED BY GF AIR LLC (M20A) ON 06/16/2012, DEPARTED FROM CHARLESTON, SC (KCHS) AT 0936 LOCAL EN-ROUTE TO TREASURE CAY, BAHAMAS (MYAT), VMC METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS. AT 1100 LOCAL TIME, ON DESCEND TO MYAT, THE GEAR HANDLE WAS LOWERED FOR APPROACH. THE PILOT RECALLED HEARING A MOTOR CYCLING ON AND OFF TWO TIMES, AND "LANDING GEAR RELAY" CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS LEVELED OFF AT 12,000 FEET, THE CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS RESET AND THE GEAR HANDLE WAS MOVED OUT OF DOWN AND DETENT AND TO THE DOWN POSITION AGAIN. THE LANDING GEAR DROPPED OUT OF THE WHEEL WELLS AND THE CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED AGAIN. HYDRAULIC LOW LEVEL LIGHT NEVER CAME ON DURING THE FLIGHT. A DIVERSION TO FXE (FORT LAUDERDALE EXECUTIVE AIRPORT) WAS REQUESTED; A MANUAL GEAR EXTENSION WAS DONE DURING A REQUESTED HOLD AT MRLIN INTERSECTION. THE THREE DOWN AND LOCKS GREEN LIGHTS CAME ON. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED IN FXE AT 1209 LOCAL VMC METEOROLOGICAL WITHOUT INCIDENT, IT WAS THEN TAXIED TO BANYAN AIR SERVICES (WD4R) FOR REPAIRS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
