## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING LANDING THE PILOT LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND VEERED TO THE LEFT OF THE RUNWAY, COLLIDING WITH A ROW OF PINE TREES AND A WOODEN FENCE, SUBSTANTUALLY DAMAGING THE AIRCRAFT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN12LA379](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN12LA379), Jun 17, 2012: Consolidated Aeronautics Lake LA-4-200 (N3094P), Lakeview, AR, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's improper flare and recovery from a bounced landing.

## Other reports on N3094P (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19791104056669I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19791104056669I), Nov 4, 1979: Conaer LA4200 (N3094P), Simsbury, CT, Minor damage. Pilot landed on grass next to runway when gear did not operate. PN241131 fitting had failed on gear actuator.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
