## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING LANDING ROLLOUT ON RUNWAY 31, WHILE SLOWING DOWN TO AN ESTIMATED 30 MPH, THE AIRPLANE SWERVED TO THE LEFT OF CENTERLINE AND DEPARTED THE RUNWAY SURFACE AT A NEAR 90 DEGREE ANGLE. THE RIGHT HAND WING TIP CONTACTED THE GRASS JUST OFF THE RUNWAY FOR A FEW SECONDS, AND DAMAGED THE LOWER SURFACE OF THE TIP, THE RH AILERON, AND THE RH LOWER WING AFT SPAR. RIGHT HAND LANDING GEAR TIRE, OUTBOARD SIDEWALL HAS A VERTICAL SPLIT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN12CA405](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN12CA405), Jun 18, 2012: Boeing A75N1(PT17) (N59334), Glencoe, MN, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control of the airplane during the landing roll.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
