## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N703L WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 27 AHN AIRPORT AT APPROXIMATELY 1305Z. UPON TOUCHDOWN N703L STARTED BOUNCING ALONG RUNWAY UNTIL THE NOSE WHEEL APPEARED TO COLLAPSE. THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER AND STOPPED ON THE RUNWAY AT APPROXIMATELY THE 2000 FEET REMAINING MARKER. AHN ARFF WAS NOTIFIED WITH AN ALERT III AND RESPONDED TO THE SITE. TWO PERSONNEL GOT OUT OF THE AIRCRAFT AND APPEARED UNINJURED (THIS WAS CONFIRMED BY ARFF). INSPECTORS FROM THE ATL FSDO SO-11 ARRIVED AND INTERVIEWED THE PILOT AND RECEIVED WRITTEN STATEMENTS FROM THE PILOT AND HIS PASSENGER (SON). THE AIRCRAFT WAS ALREADY REMOVED FROM THE RUNWAY AND RELOCATED TO A HANGAR FACILITY ON THE AIRPORT PROPERTY. THE AIRCRAFT DAMAGE WAS INSPECTED AND PHOTOGRAPHED. THE DAMAGE DID NOT MEET THE CRITERIA FOR AN ACCIDENT AND WAS CLASSIFIED AND AN INCIDENT. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS COUNSELED BY ASI TONY JONES ON THE SCENE. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS RESPONSIVE TO THE COUNSELING. From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
