## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED FROM A PRIVATE STRIP AND THAT WAS ALSO THE INTENDED FINAL DESTINATION.THE PILOT STATED THAT AS HE WAS ALLOWING THE ENGINE TO COME UP TO OPERATING TEMPATURE A GUST OF WIND LIFTED UP THE CHUTE AND UPON TAKEOFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CHUTE DIDN'T OPEN CORRECTLY CAUSING THE POWER PARACHUTE TO STAY IN A CONTINUOUS RIGHT TURN AS HE TRIED TO LAND THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR HIT THE GROUND FIRST BREAKING OFF THE WHEEL AND TIPPING THE MACHINE ON IT'S SIDE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
