## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON TOUCHDOWN ON RUNWAY 25R AT PHOENIX DEER VALLEY AIRPORT, N9283J VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY TO THE RIGHT. PILOT BELIEVES SHE EXPERIENCED A GUST THAT PUSHED THE AIRCRAFT OFF THE RUNWAY. APPLICATION OF LEFT RUDDER WAS NOT ENOUGH TO PREVENT THE AIRCRAFT FROM CONTINUING ITS PATH TO THE RIGHT. THE LEFT WINGTIP WAS STRUCK ON GRAVEL BEFORE THE PILOT RETURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO THE RUNWAY.NO OTHER DAMAGE TO AIRPORT PROPERTY WAS NOTED. THE ONLY DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT (ACCORDING TO THE PILOT) IS SOME SLIGHT PAINT DAMAGE ON THE LEFT WINGTIP. NOTE THAT THIS HAS NOT BEEN VERIFIED (OTHER THAN BY MAILED PHOTO) BY THIS INSPECTOR, AS THE AIRCRAFT IS BASED IN CARSON CITY, NV.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
