## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE DIAMOND DA-20 AIRCRAFT WAS PARKED NEXT TO ANOTHER AIRCRAFT AND THE PILOT BELIEVED HIS WING WAS TOO CLOSE TO THE OTHER AIRCRAFT. THE DIAMOND AIRCRAFT HAS A FREE CASTERING NOSE WHEEL AND IS STEERED BY DIFFERENTIAL BRAKING. AS THE PILOT STARTED HIS TAXI ROLL, THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TURNING TO THE LEFT TOWARDS THE OTHER AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT STATED HE PUSHED BOTH BRAKE PEDALS BUT THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED LEFT, STRIKING THE PARKED AIRCRAFT WITH ITS WING, PROP AND SPINNER. THE OTHER AIRCRAFT RECEIVED DAMAGE TO ITS COWLING, WING AND FUSELAGE. THE PILOT'S AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE AND HE WAS NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
