## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PARACHUTIST CHRISTOPHER BROWN JUMPED FROM A CESSNA 182 JUMP PLANE OPERATED BY PENNSYLVANIA SKYDIVING UNIVERSITY CORP. A GROUND WITNESS REPORTED THAT HIS CHUTE WAS AT LEAST PARTIALLY OPEN, BUT THAT HE WAS DESCENDING AT AN EXCESSIVE RATE. MR. BROWN WAS KILLED ON IMPACT WITH THE GROUND. HIS EXPERIENCE CONSISTED OF APPROXIMATELY 85 JUMPS.THE PARACHUTE HARNESS/CONTAINER WAS A MIRAGE SYSTEMS, MODEL MS. THE MAIN CANOPY WAS PERFORMANCE DESIGNS, MODEL PD193R. THE PACKING RECORD WAS FOUND IN THE CONTAINER AND REFLECTS RIGGERS' ENTRIES SINCE MANUFACTURE IN 1999.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
