## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING THE FLARE TO LAND ON RUNWAY 07, THE AIRCRAFT'S LEFT WING VIOLENTLY WAS PUSHED UPWARD CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO HIT THE RUNWAY HARD AND VEAR TO THE RIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED OUT INTO THE WEEDS AND HIT A SMALL DITCH. THE PILOT ADDED POWER TO GET THE AIRCRAFT UP AND OUT OF THE DITCH AND BACK ON THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT CONTINUED TAXING INTO THE FBO. A NORMAL ENGINE SHUT DOWN WAS PERFORMED AND THE PILOT AND PASSENGER EXITED THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER NOTICED THAT THE NOSE TIRE WAS FLAT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR12LA325](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR12LA325), Jul 10, 2012: Cessna 177 (N30753), Gooding, ID, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain airplane control after encountering an unexpected wind gust during landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
