## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS MARSHALED TO A GATE IN MADISON, WI, THAT HAD NO EMB170 STOP MARKINGS PAINTED ON THE RAMP. THE MARSHALER FAILED TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT SHORT OF THE JETWAY BRIDGE RESULTING IN THE LEFT ENGINE NACELLE SLIGHTLY CONTACTING THE JETWAY.CORRECTIVE ACTION: THE STATION HAS AGREED TO PAINT EMB 170 STOP LINES AT EACH GATE FOR THE MARSHALER TO USE WHEN PARKING EMB 170 AIRCRAFT. ALSO, THE STATION WILL NO LONGER USE GATE 4 TO PARK EMB 170 AIRCRAFT, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
