## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 07/21/2012 WHILE LANDING AT ELLINGTON FIELD (EFD) HOUSTON TEXAS, PILOT STATED THAT HE WAS MAKING A STANDARD APPROCH TO RUNWAY 35L, AND THAT HIS LANDING WAS "FLAT" AND WHEN THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED BACK INTO THE AIR. THE PILOT PUSHED THE YOKE FORWARD WHICH BROUGHT THE AIRCRAFT DOWN AT A MORE EXTREME ANGLE AND BOUNCED A SECOND TIME, AT WHICH TIME THE PROPELLER MADE CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT TAXIED BACK TO ITS TIE DOWN. NO INJURIES, MINOR DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
