## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE NTSB NOTIFIED SW05 OF A POSSIBLE ACCIDENT/INCIDENT WHICH OCCURRED AT DFW ON 8/5/2012. ON 8/9/2012 CONTACTED THE PILOT OF THE AIRCRAFT AND HE INDICATED THAT WHEN HE LANDED AT DFW AIRPORT HE NOTICED DAMAGE TO THE R/H WING SKIN ABOVE THE MLG. HE INDICATED THAT HE AND ONE OTHER MECHANIC/PILOT COULD SEND A STATEMENT REGARDING THIS ISSUE. (AS YET NOT RECEIVED) INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND TWO RIVET HEADS MISSING AND A 4 INCH CRACK IN AN AJACENT AREA. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE FOUND IN THE WHEEL WELL. THE NTSB IDENTIFIED THIS AS AN INCIDENT ON 8/13/2012.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
