## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE CONDUCTING PRACTICE LANDINGS AT WICKENBURG (E25) THE STUDENT BEGAN HIS ROUND OUT A LITTLE HIGH. THE INSTRUCTOR ALLOWED THE STUDENT TO CONTINUE BUT REALIZED HE WAS NOT CORRECTING AS SOON AS HE SHOULD. THE INSTRUCTOR TOOK CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT LATER THAN HE SHOULD HAVE AND DID NOT ADD POWER TO INCREASE AIRSPEED. DURING THE FLAIR THE AIRSPEED DISSIPATED FASTER THAN THE INSTRUCTOR EXPECTED. THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTED THE RUNWAY HARD. NO INJURIES TO INSTRUCTOR OR STUDENTS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
