## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AN UNSAFE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR INDICATION WAS EXPERIENCED AFTER TAKEOFF. ON LANDING ROLLOUT, THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR & LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. DURING AIRCRAFT RECOVERY, AFTER THE AIRCRAFT WAS LIFTED FROM THE EDGE OF THE RUNWAY, ONE OF THE LIFTING STRAPS BROKE, CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO FALL TO THE GROUND.

AMENDED 11/21/2012 ROCHE: EXAMINATION OF THE AIRCRAFT IDENTIFIED THAT A FAILED SEAL IN THE LANDING GEAR ROTARY SELECTOR CONTROL VALVE CAUSED THE LANDING GEAR NOT TO LOCK IN THE DOWN POSITION.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
