## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 10/19/2012, AT 2115 (UTC), ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS FLYING MAULE M-5, N5641K, DOING TOUCH & GOES ON RUNWAY 19 AT BTV. ON THE FIRST TOUGH & GO, HE LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AS HE APPLIED FULL POWER TO TAKE-OFF. THE AIRCRAFT WENT OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY, THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST IN THE GRASS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
