## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 26 OCTOBER, 2012 WHILE FLYING A LOCAL FLIGHT ON AIRCRAFT N349RA, A SOCATA RALLYE (MS893E), S/N 13178 THE PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) LANDED ON RUNWAY 35 WITHOUT INCIDENT. UPON TURNING ONTO INTERSECTION B1 ON TAXI-BACK THE PIC FELT THE AIRCRAFT SHAKE HARD FOR A MOMENT AND OBSERVED THE AIRCRAFT SETTLE TO A SLIGHT NOSE DOWN ATTITUED. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED MOVING FORWARD FOR A MOMENT THEN CAME TO A HALT. UPON EXITING THE AIRCRAFT THE PIC NOTICED THE NOSE WHEEL AND TIRE MISSING. THE WHEEL AND TIRE WERE FOUND ABOUT 25 FEET FROM THE AIRCRAFT ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE RUNWAY STILL ATTACHED TO THE SHEARED AXLE AND STILL INFLATED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PIC NOR THE SOLE PASSENGER. THERE WAS NO ADDITIONAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
