## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIR INDIA AIRCRAFT VT-ALD WAS TAXIING INTO THE GATE ACROSS FROM DELTA'S GATE 46 WHERE AIRCRAFT N306DQ WAS PARKED. BAGGAGE CART # 109134 WAS LEFT BY THE FWD SECTION OF GATE 46A TO THE RIGHT OF THE AIRCRAFT. WHEN THE AIR INDIA TURNED TO THE GATE, THE CART STARTED ROLLING INTO THE RIGHT NOSE SIDE OF THE DELTA AIRCRAFT. THE CART STRUCK THE AIRCRAFT RIGHT BEHIND THE GROUND POWER RECEPTACLE PANEL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
