## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT APPROXIMATELY 00:00 CST, SATURDAY MORNING (MIDNIGHT), 11/24/2012, N4637Y, A CESSNA 210N, DEPARTED EPPLEY AIRFIELD, OMAHA NE. THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING OPERATED BY FLIGHT EXPRESS, AIR CARRIER CERTIFICATE FPIA, AS A CARGO OPERATION. DURING CLIMBOUT, THE PILOT BANKED LEFT TO TURN. AS THE PILOT LEVELED THE WINGS HE NOTICED THE ATTITUDE INDICATOR BEHAVING ERRATICALLY. THE PILOT DETERMINED THE INDICATOR WAS NOT OPERATING PROPERLY AND RETURNED TO EPPLEY AIRFIELD TO HAVE THE INDICATOR EVALUATED. THE RETURN FLIGHT TO EPPLEY WAS COMPLETED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL FROM SIGNATURE TECHNICAIR IN OMAHA (MGOR), REPLACED THE ATTITUDE GYRO INDICATOR WITH AN AIRWORTHY UNIT OF THE SAME PART NO. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED DURING NIGHT VMC AND THE PILOT SUSTAINED NO INJURIES NOR DID THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAIN ANY DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
