## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT ENGINE ON CLIMBOUT LOST POWER. PILOT LANDED AT THE END OF THE DEPARTURE RUNWAY (NO TURNS) AND WAS UNABLE TO FULLY EXTEND MAIN GEAR PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN. FURTHER INVESTIGATION SHOWED THAT IN THE CONFIGURATION RECOVERED FUEL FLOW COULD NOT BE ESTABLISHED. RESELECTION OF RIGHT FUEL TANK DISLODGED AN APPARANT BLOCKAGE. FLOW WAS THEN AVAILABLE IN LEFT, BOTH AND RIGHT TANKS SELECTED. ENGINE WAS RUN SUCCESFULLY AND WAS CAPABLE OF POWER OUTPUT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN13LA076](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN13LA076), Nov 28, 2012: Cessna 177RG (N1912Q), Lansing, MI, substantial damage. Probable cause: A loss of engine power due to the loss of fuel flow through the airplane's fuel tank selector valve.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
