## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN13FA073](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN13FA073), Nov 27, 2012: Cessna 421C (N67SR), Wells, TX, substantial damage, 1 fatal. Probable cause: The pilot’s decision to continue the flight into an area of extreme weather, which led to the in-flight encounter with a thunderstorm and structural failure of the wings and tail.

## Other reports on N67SR (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19811217087409I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19811217087409I), Dec 17, 1981: Cessna 421C (N67SR), Syracuse, NY. Pilot taxied on wrong taxiway, onto active runway under departing traffic. Taxi markings under snow, lack of signs.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong.
