## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 8/12/2012 ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS COMPLETING HER 7TH PARACHUTE SKY DIVE. SHE HAD COMPLETED 5 TANDEM AND 1 STATIC LINE JUMPS PREVIOUSLY. AFTER THE JUMP AND SUCCESSFUL PARACHUTE DEPLOYMENT, HER STATEMENT WAS: SHE ATTEMPTED TO GRAB THE STEERING TOGGLE LINES. SHE WAS ABLE TO REACH THE RIGHT ONE BUT NOT THE LEFT. DUE TO HER INEXPERIENCE SHE WAS UNABLE TO ACCURATELY CONTROL THE CANOPY, SHE SPIRALED DOWN AND MADE HARD IMPACT LANDING ON SIDE OF HILL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
