## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT FLYING, (PF) ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, AND PIC ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, ATTEMPTED TAKE-OFF IN A MOONEY M-20 ON RWY 29L, AT STOCKTON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT. ON ROTATION, PF EXPERIENCED UNUSUAL NOSE HEAVY CONDITION. PF ABORTED TAKE-OFF AND BEGAN BRAKING. THE PIC PULL MIXTURE CONTROL TO IDLE/CUT-OFF. THE ENGINE STOPPED AND THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED OFF THE END OF THE RWY INTO SOFT GROUND. THE NOSE WHEEL DUG INTO THE DIRT CAUSING NOSE GEAR TO COLLAPSE, FOLLOWED BY THE COLLAPSE OF THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
