## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE TAXIING FROM BEHIND N1056B ON THE PARKING RAMP, THE LEFT WING TIP OF N629WG MADE CONTACT WITH THE TRAILING EDGE OF THE RIGHT WINGLET ON N1056B. THE INITIAL CONTACT THEN CAUSED N629WG TO SWING AROUND AND AGAIN MAKE CONTACT WITH THE RIGHT WING LEADING EDGE OF N1056B. THE PILOT OF N629WG STATED THAT WHILE MANEUVERING THE AIRPLANE HE WAS TEMPORARILY BLINDED BY THE SUN AND DID NOT REALIZE THAT HE HAD NOT CLEARED THE OTHER AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD NO MECHANICAL ISSUES WITH THE AIRPLANE PRIOR TO THE COLLISION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
