## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, PIC OF N5813L, AMERICAN AA-5, WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 7. WINDS WERE 140-170 AT 12 KNOTS GUSTING TO 20 AS REPORTED BY THE AIRPORT. UPON TOUCH DOWN, THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO BOUNCE AND THE RIGHT WING STARTED TO LIFT SO THE PIC ELECTED TO APPLY FULL THROTTLE FOR A GO-AROUND. AS POWER WAS APPLIED THE AIRCRAFT ROTATED 90 DEGREES TO THE LEFT, THE AIRSPEED WAS LESS THAN 60 KNOTS, SETTLED TO THE GRASS AND HIT THE LEFT WING AND COLLAPSED THE NOSE LANDING GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT SLID ACROSS THE GRASS, TAXIWAY AND IMPACTED A TREE LINE. A TREE IMPACTED THE LEFT WING AND CAME TO REST AGAINST THE SPAR.
