## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS SPRAYING FIELDS WHEN HE NOTICED IN A TURN THAT HE COULD NO LONGER TURN THE AIRCRAFT TO THE LEFT BY USE OF HIS CYCLIC. PILOT USED PEDALS TO TURN AIRCRAFT BUT EVENTUALLY ENDED UP IN A ROLL PRIOR TO AN EMERGENCY LANDING. AIRCRAFT LANDED ON IT'S RIGHT SIDE. WAITING ON AN INVESTIGATION BY THE NTSB TO DETERMINE CAUSE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

- [NTSB WPR13LA087](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR13LA087), Jan 8, 2013: Bell OH-58C (N911PT), Riverdale, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: A flight control malfunction while maneuvering for reasons that could not be determined because it was not possible to establish whether observed damage to the flight control assembly was the result…

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
