## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED HE WAS ENROUTE FROM 7FL6 TO TEXAS WHEN HEAVY HEAD WINDS CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT AIRSPEED TO DROP TO 85 KTS. PILOT ELECTED TO LAND AT CEW DUE TO DETERIATING WEATHER CONDITIONS. PILOT STATED AS WEATHER CONDITIONS WORSENED, HE SPOTTED RUNWAY BETWEEN THE CLOUDS, RUSHED LANDING AND FORGOT TO EXTEND LANDING GEAR. AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON RUNWAY AND SKIDDED TO A STOP WITH VERY LITTLE DAMAGE AND NO INJURIES TO PILOT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
