## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEBRUARY 8, 2013, AT 1205 EDT, A PIPER PA28-181, N9285G, REGISTERED TO NATIONAL AVIATION AIRCRAFT SERVICES, INC. A STUDENT PILOT'S FIRST SOLO, WAS CLEAR TO LAND ON RUNWAY 4, AT ST PETERSBURG-CLEARWATER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (PIE). AT TOUCH DOWN THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO DRIFT FROM THE CENTER LINE AND RAN OFF THE RUNWAY INTO THE GRASS. NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND NO INJURIES TO THE STUDENT. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM PIE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
