## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEBRUARY 14, 2013 AT ABOUT 1810 LCL, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ OF N4984S A PA28R-200 WITH ONE PASSENGER, FAILED TO VERIFY THE LANDING GEAR WAS EXTENDED PRIOR TO LANDING ON RUNWAY 27 AT PINE MOUNTAIN, GA HARRIS COUNTY AIRPORT (KPIM). SUBSEQUENTLY LANDING WITH THE GEAR RETRACTED CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRFRAME AND CAUSING A SUDDEN STOPPAGE OF THE PROPELLER. UPON LIFTING THE AIRCRAFT, THE LANDING GEAR WAS EXTENDED AND LOCKED WITH NO PROBLEMS. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ ADMITTED TO LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS THAT HE HAD FAILED TO LOWER THE GEAR PRIOR TO LANDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
