## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEB. 16, 2013, AT APPROX. 2145 HRS, WHILE TAXIING, A CESSNA 195, WITH TWO PEOPLE ONBOARD, TAXIIED OFF THE END OF THE TAXIWAY. THE PILOT STATED THAT WHILE TAXIING, HIS LANDING LIGHT WENT OUT AND HE REACHED OVER TO CYCLE THE LIGHT SWITCH ON AND OFF TO SEE IF HIS LANDING LIGHT WOULD COME BACK ON.

THE AIRCRAFT WENT DOWN A STEEP EMBANKMENT AND THE PILOT WAS UNABLE TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT AS IT ROLLED DOWN THE HILL. THE AIRCRAFT'S MAIN LANDING GEAR WAS BENT BACKWARDS AND THE PROP STRUCK THE GROUND.

THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
