## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT OPERATOR DEPARTED THE RV PARK FOR THE FIRST FLIGHT IN THE AIRCRAFT, AN UNREGISTERED LSA. THE AIRCRAFT MAY NOT HAVE BEEN REGISTERED PRIOR TO THE DEADLINE SET TO REGISTER ULTRA-LIGHTS. AFTER A FLIGHT AROUND THE LOCAL AREA, IT APPEARS THE OPERATOR APPROACHED THE RV PARK FOR A LOW PASS. ONCE HE REACHED THE TREE LINE, HE EXECUTED A PULL UP TO AVOID THE TREES AND ENTERED A STALL, LEADING TO A SPIN. THE AIRCRAFT HAD TWO SEATS BUT NO DOCUMENTATION SUPPORTED IT BEING REGISTERED. THE GIRLFRIEND REPORTED THAT THE OPERATOR HAD TAKEN FLIGHT LESSONS AND WAS WITHIN 2 HOURS OF HIS LICENSES. THE TRAINING WAS REPORTED TO HAVE TAKEN PLACE IN WISCONSIN. NO RECORD WAS FOUND ON THE OPERATOR IN THE FAA DATABASES TO SHOW A STUDENT CERTIFICATE. GIRL FRIEND ALSO REPORTED THE OPERATOR HAD 2 BEERS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.

## NTSB investigation

None matched to this report by aircraft and date. Search the NTSB's own records: https://data.ntsb.gov/carol-main-public/basic-search

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
