## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING THE INITIAL TAKEOFF THE PILOT NOTICE THERE WAS SNOW TO THE SOUTH AND HE DECIDED TO CIRCLE AROUND AND LAND. DURING THE INITAL LANDING THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED AND ON THE SECOND TOUCHDOWN THE PILOT NOTICED SPARKS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT SO HE TOOK BACK OFF AND DID A FLY BY OF THE TOWER. HE WAS TOLD THAT THE GEAR LOOKED OK. HE THEN LANDED AND DURING THE ROLLOUT THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO SETTLE TO THE RIGHT AND STARTED TO PULL TO THE RIGHT, FINALLY ENDING UP OFF THE RUNWAY IN THE GRASS. DURING THE INITAL LANDING THE AIRCRAFT OWNER DID HAVE HIS HANDS ON THE CONTROL WITH THE PILOT BUT WAS NOT FLYING THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
