## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APRIL, 2, 2013 N28AB PILOT BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ LANDED ON LAKE DISSTON IN FLAGLER COUNTY FLORIDA. AFTER COMPLETION OF THE LANDING HE DECIDED TO ENJOY FLORIDA?S WILDLIFE ON THE LAKE. EN-ROUTE TO THE SHORE LINE DURING A ?HIGH-SPEED? TAXI (STEP TAXI) THE PILOT INDICATES HE HIT SOMETHING IN THE WATER WHICH MADE THE AIRCRAFT FLIP OVER IN THE WATER. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER BOTH EXITED THE AIRCRAFT AND SWAM TO SHORE WITH NO INJURIES.

BY STATEMENTS GIVEN TO ME BY THE PILOT AND OWNER OF THE AIRCRAFT ALL THE SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE WERE CAUSED BY THE RECOVERY OF THE AIRCRAFT FROM THE LAKE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
