## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APRIL 12, 2013 AT 1227 CDT, A CESSNA 172, N46668, REGISTERED TO SKYFLIGHT AIR LLC., EXPERIENCED AN ENGINE FAILURE DURING CRUISE FLIGHT OVER CONWAY, ARKANSAS, WHILE ON A CROSS COUNTRY FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME AND A VFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS NOT FILED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS UNDAMAGED AND THE CERTIFICATED PRIVATE PILOT AND PASSENGER WERE NOT INJURED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM ALABASTER, ALABAMA, ON APRIL 12, 2013, AT 0845 CDT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
