## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT ELECTED TO LAND WITHOUT POWER TO THE NEAREST LANDING AREA. THE LANDING WAS COMPLETED WITH NO ADDITIONAL DAMAGE TO THE HELICOPTER AND WITH NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT OR PASSENGER.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR13CA204](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR13CA204), Apr 20, 2013: Bell 206B (N4237M), Wells, NV, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain clearance from an obstacle while maneuvering at a low altitude.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System.
