## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS IN MAINTENACE FOR A ROUGH RUNNING ENGINE, WHICH CLEARED ITSELF WHEN FUEL BOOST PUMP WAS ACTIVATED.

THE MAGNETO'S WERE CHECKED, THE ENTIRE FUEL SYSTEM WAS CHECKED TO INCLUDE VENT SYSTEMS. FOUND NO OBVIOUS DEFECTS. ONE FITTING WAS CLEANED AND RE-INSTALLED.

FUEL SCREENS REVEALED NO BLOCKAGE. ENGINE WAS TEST RUN ON GROUND AND PERFORMED NORMALLY. PRESSURE TESTED FUEL SYSTEM FOUND NO LEAKS OR PROBLEMS.

ON CLIMB OUT ENGINE LOST MOST OF IT'S POWER AND PILOT INITIATED A EMERGENCY LANDING.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
