## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APRIL 26, 2013 AT APPROXIMATELY 2145, A CESSNA 172S REGISTERED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA ENCOUNTERED A BIRD STRIKE ON APPROACH TO LAND AT KFAR DURING A TRAINING FLIGHT. VFR CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT HAD MINOR DAMAGE, AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE CREW OR PASSENGER. THE PILOT HOLDS A COMMERCIAL PILOT RATING. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT GRAND FORKS ND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
